A donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Kansas can be the perfect way to celebrate and honor birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings or to remember a deceased friend or relative through a memorial. Consider an honorarium instead of a gift to your clients or customers, making a donation to Make-A-Wish in the name of that special person.

For Individuals/Corporations Making a Tribute or Memorial Donation:

Please include the following information:

• Name of the individuals(s) you are honoring or remembering.
• Contact information of the individual(s) you would like notified of the gifts.
• An explanation of the occasion (i.e., 50th birthday, wedding anniversary, in memoriam).
• Names and addresses of those donating.

Once we receive your gift or a listing of the gifts, we will send a warm personalized acknowledgement card to inform your friends/family of your thoughtful tribute. Or, we can send it to you, to enclose in a card or present it in person.

For Families:
Families may request memorial donations to the Foundation after the loss of a relative, in lieu of flowers.  Please inform us of your intention to do so by calling the Make-A-Wish office at (316) 838-9474.  We will then notify your family of all donations received in your loved one's memory. Please ensure that the funeral home has our current organization name and address to print in the obituary.

For Funeral Homes:
Funeral homes in Kansas may request Make-A-Wish Memorial Donation Envelopes to offer to families. To request envelopes, call the Make-A-Wish office at (316) 316-838-9474.

Tributes for Children: Birthday, First Communion/Confirmation, Graduation Wishes
If your child is celebrating a birthday, first communion/confirmation, or graduation - you can request donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in your child's honor, in lieu of presents. Your child will receive a special certificate acknowledging the gifts received in her name...and will experience the joy of helping another child in need!
