Ethan's Wish

I wish to be...in the Army.
Ethan wished to be in the United States Army and
particularly wanted to visit Fort Carson in Colorado. Accompanied by his mother, aunt and his best friend Jake, Ethan had an interview with Major Cort Hunt, who also helped coordinate his wish. After the meeting, the boys shared a dinner with the other recruits and eagerly waited to see what else was to come.

The next morning came very early for Ethan as he and Jake woke up at 5 A.M. along with the rest of the recruits to travel to the Military Entrance Processing Station in Denver. After taking the Army entrance exam, Ethan and Jake were whisked off in an Army Hummer to the ESPN Zone for an afternoon filled with food and video games.

The boys then returned to Fort Carson, where Ethan was sworn in and given official uniforms and dog tags.  They were also able to see many of the army vehicles and were able to stay in the barracks at Fort Carson for the ultimate Army experience.
