| Tony Meets His Idol |
On "wish day", Tony and his mom boarded the Oasis of the Seas...the newest and biggest Royal Caribbean cruise liner. After a press conference in the Aqua Theater, Tony was set to meet Corbin Blue over ice cream. When Corbin arrived "his (Tony) eyes got really big," said Tony's mother Fran. "He was in his electric wheelchair...and (he) just skids in and says, 'Hi, Corbin!'" Corbin colored and signed a bandana for Tony and they posed for pictures together. Frans says taht "Corbin spent the better part of the afternoon with us...and made sure it was something Tony would never forget." |

We would like to take this opportunity to give a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that volunteered; participated; donated and took part in our 25th Anniversary Celebration. We had a great turn out with approximately 150 people in attendance. A good time was had by all, enjoying the games; activities; crafts; prizes; clowns; characters; tattoos and magician. Everyone got plenty to eat and lots of water was consumed to be sure we all kept hydrated. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas will continue to serve as a source of hope, strength and joy for children and their families with the continued support of individuals and companies like yours. So on behalf of the Board, our staff and the children we serve, please accept our sincere appreciation.
