Ryan's Wish... to Give Mom Dream Wedding
ryan_david_websiteFrom the Topeka Capital-Journal:

When soon-to-be Topeka bride Wendy Nettleingham discovered her teenage son had cancer, she did what most mothers likely would do — she put her wedding plans on hold.

Her son repaid her kindness ten-fold.

Ryan Peskuski didn’t ask the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas for a trip or a material object for himself.
Instead, he asked them to help grant his mother’s wish for the wedding of a lifetime planned by David Tutera, wedding planning extraordinaire and star of WE TV’s series “My Fair Wedding.”

Wendy and Rocky Nichols’ Topeka wedding was featured on the Sunday, Nov. 13 Season Premier of “My Fair Wedding”  on WETV.

A special thanks to Becky Miller and Eric Miller who tirelessly worked for several months on Ryan’s wish. This wish could not have taken place without their devotion to our mission.

Dakota Meets Paul Jr. & American Chopper Crew

dakota_pauljr_214 year old - Dakota, traveled all the way from Kansas to meet Paul Jr. and the crew from The Discovery Channel’s American Chopper!  Dakota never misses an episode of the show, and uses Paul Jr.’s designs as inspiration to build his own creations in his workshop at home.  When asked what his one true wish was, Dakota didn’t miss a beat and knew it was to meet Paul Jr.!

Dakota was nothing but smiles as the limo brought him right up to the Paul Jr. Designs’ Studio door, VIP all the way! He couldn’t believe when Joe from the show greeted him! Joe asked Dakota what his favorite bike was and he didn’t even have to think twice, “The Black Widow!”

black_widow_photoJoe asked Dakota and his family to wait in the lobby for a few minutes while Paul Jr. got ready. To everyone’s surprise, Mikey walked right through the door and up to Dakota to shake his hand! Dakota’s mouth instantly dropped wide open and then turned into a smile! The two chatted for a while about Mikey’s art gallery, since Dakota loves to draw. Finally Joe came back into the lobby and announced that Dakota and his family were going to get mic’d-up because they were going to be filmed for the show! Dakota’s mouth instantly dropped wide open again, he was so excited! (read more...)
