 Dream Car Show - Sat. June 27, 2009

The Mid-Kansas Vintage Thunderbird Club and the Wichita Classic Thunderbirds are gearing up for the 8th annual DREAM CAR SHOW to be held New Market Square. There is no charge for admssion and this eclectic exhibit of vehicles will delight auto enthusiast of all ages with a variety of classics, customs, hot rods and motorcycles of all makes, models and years. For a $1 donation you a can place a vote for your favorite, the vehicle collecting the most ballots at the end of the day will receive the MVP Award. A variety of car related items and services will go to the highest bidder at the silent auction held during the event.

A special entry at this year's show will be the SuperStang which is the re-creation of a unique 1967 Mustang created by Ford Motor Company that was never marketed to the public. CARSTAR re-created the vehicle with help from Jeff Yergovich, owner of R&A Motorsports and was renovated at the CARSTAR Collision Repair shop in Riverside, Kan. Yergovich, is one of the country's leading restorer of Mustangs from 1960s and 70s era.
