NIKCO SPORTS/KU 2008 NCAA National Champions Basketball
he Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas will benefit from the sale of a Limited Edition, full-sized basketball that will salute The University of Kansas basketball team as the 2008 NCAA National Champions. 5,000 basketballs will be produced and sold for $99, with a portion of the proceeds going towards making more wishes come true for Kansas kids! DC CYCLES - RIDING FOR THE WISH OF A CHILD
Eudora, KS - Come join DC Custom Crafted Cycles, Sat. May 17 - at their annual open house with food, drinks live music and alot of FUN. There will be great deals on merchandise all day long with a percentage of the sales from the day going toward Make-A-Wish. Then stick around for the 3rd Annual 50/50 Dice Run Sun. May 18. Registeration 9am-10:34am. A donation will get you Coffee; Biscuits & Gravy from 8:30am-10am. 2008 BID FOR BACHELORS
It’s time to turn up the heat with some of Wichita’s finest bachelors at the 7th Annual Bid for Bachelors to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas!! Presented by Wichita Friends of Make-A-Wish and Mort’s Martini and Cigar Bar this fundraising event will take place at the Broadview Hotel-Douglas & Waco located in downtown Wichita. The evening will begin with a pre-auction cocktail party with complimentary hors d’oeuvres and champagne served by the bachelors followed by an opportunity to bid on your favorite gentleman with accompanying activity for you and your date to enjoy. In addition to the Bid for Bachelors, a silent auction will feature items donated by local merchants. This is always a highlight of the evening. Past auctions have featured a Kids Birthday Package, a glass art piece, tickets to sporting events, spa packages and jewelry. A live auction will also take place, with a couple of surprises planned. Let’s just say Jayhawk fans should make it a point to attend! The doors open @ 7PM with the auction starting @ 8PM. Advance tickets are $35 and can be purchased at the Make-A Wish office at 2016 N. Amidon or by phone @ (316) 838-9474 with your Visa, MasterCard or Discover, until 5:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2008. Tickets will be available for $45 at the door the day of the event.

DREAM CAR SHOW
This car show is fun for the whole family. Come out to NewMarket Square, 2441 N. Maize Road, Wichita, KS.
