Director of Program Services

I was born in Wichita and lived my entire life in Maize, KS - except for one year when I lived in Kansas City, MO. My husband, Derek, and I have been married for 3 1/2 years and we have a daughter, Quinn.  We live in Maize with our dog, Stoli, and 4 cats, Brinkley, Gusty, Dolce and Scars. In my spare time I like to work in my garden, read cook and spend time with my family.

I started at Make-A-Wish on December 5, 2005 and since then have helped grant over 270 wishes. My favorite Make-A-Wish moment was celebrating our 800th wish at with Wish Child Yosiah's home.  He had wished for a castle playhouse and it was an amazing party with knights, dancers, jesters, turkey legs and much more! It was truly an amazing wish experience!

I was born and raised in Huron, South Dakota and moved to Kansas in 2000. I'm married to Robert who is also from Huron. I had three children and Robert had two children all of them grown and we have 5 grandchildren. I have been with Make-A-Wish since 2005.

I feel I can understand what the families we serve are going through because when my youngest daughter was 4 I was told she had cancer. Luckily that was the wrong diagnose and she is fine, but last year I lost my oldest son to cancer at age 28.  If I could have a wish I would wish for a trip to Hawaii to visit my daughter.

Special Events &
Communications Manager

I'm a native of Wichita and have lived here my entire life. I have 3 children, who are grown and starting families of their own.  My husband Joseph (better known as Joey) and I have been married for 6 years and are currently enjoying being grandparents to our 5 grandchildren: Preston, Prescilla, Julian, Ariana and Judah.

I enjoy my job assiting with the various fundraising events that are done to help grant wishes.

My favorite wish experience was being able to serve as the staff wish ambassador for Evan's wish to play basketball and meet the players at The University of Kansas in Lawrence. The smile on Evan's face during his wish experience will be etched in my mind forever.  Being a wishgranter with my husband has been one of the best parts of my "job" here at Make-A-Wish.
