What are the sources of funding?
Donations from individuals provide a significant amount of our income. Other revenue comes from outside fundraisers, corporate donations, sponsorships, workplace giving, grants, memorials or tributes, bequests and endowments. We host internal fundraising events each year: Team Up for Wishes, Loaf Off: A Meatloaf Competition, Runway Wishes Fashion Show.  Other revenue comes from external fundraisers, where groups or organizations hold events on our behalf and National Corporate Sponsor campaigns and promotions.  Funds raised in Kansas go toward Kansas wish kids! 

How much of my donation goes to granting wishes?
Based on our most recent independent annual audit, 76% of every dollar donated goes to our program services.

How much does a wish cost?
Through in-kind donations of goods and services, the average cost of a wish is $6,500.  However, wishes can vary greatly and be much more or less expensive than that average.

Is there any cost to the family?
There is no cost to the family in fulfilling a child's wish.  The entire family living in the same residence (siblings under 18) is encouraged and able to participate in the wish experience whenever possible.  All wish expenses are fully covered including any travel and spending money.  Our aspiration is to provide the child and family with carefree and joyful memories!
